Ronda Coon founded the Family Life Center in 1986. It was founded out of a desire to meet the needs of women facing a "crisis pregnancy". In 1987, the Ronda Coon Maternity Home opened it's doors to pregnant women who needed shelter and support during their pregnancy.
Ronda Jo Coon was survived by her husband, Steven Alan Coon and son, Jonathan Coon after her passing in 1992.
She and her team fought to educate women about pro-life options and to spread the love of Jesus.
The Ronda Coon Women's Home is currently also affiliated with Heartbeat International and holds a membership with FACCCA (Florida Associate of Christian Child-Caring Agencies).
